POMMES FREUNDE: “Fast Good” finally also in Vienna
Since the beginning of February, POMMES FREUNDE has said “Grüß Gott in Vienna”: Munich’s premium fast food concept opened its first store in downtown Vienna on Franz-Josefs-Kai. The new store offers around 40 places inside and outside and is the company’s 48th location overall. At POMMES FREUNDE in Vienna, as in all other stores, the focus is enjoyment. Fresh French fries that are never frozen, as well as high-quality meat for premium burgers, currywurst, and a wide selection of vegetarian alternatives and free sauces, made POMMES FREUNDE known as a “Fast Good” provider. In Vienna and the upcoming stores in Austria, this concept will be supplemented with regional products. In Vienna, for example, POMMES FREUNDE offers the popular classic Käsekrainer and fresh draft beer from the Trumer brewery.
Mindful consumption
For POMMES FREUNDE, enjoyable nutrition also means consciously promoting the mindful consumption of meat: the company also offers a vegetarian alternative to every meat dish. There are also vegan and halal-compliant dishes in the range. POMMES FREUNDE is also consistent when it comes to sustainability: Whenever possible, we source salads, vegetables, and baked goods from regional suppliers, and some locations cooperate with the “Too good to go” leftovers initiative. POMMES FREUNDE also only uses high-quality European vegetable oil for frying, no palm oil. In addition, the company already largely avoids plastic and, for example, offers plastic-free packaging.
