Bathhouse Babylon Cologne
In the immediate vicinity of Friesenplatz and only 5 minutes from Ehrenstraße you will find our little paradise in the middle of a hectic city for over 30 years. On more than 1400 sqm, Badehaus Babylon offers you everything your wellness, sauna and cruising heart desires.
Bar
Our generously designed bar with open fireplace invites you to enjoy and linger. Here you will find a large selection of soft drinks from soft drinks, fresh juices, various Scavi & Ray wines, Hugo or Aperol Spritz to various cocktails as well as coffee specialties and a daily changing cake assortment of the Fromme confectionery.
We have also taken care of your physical well-being. From small snacks such as toast, bruschetta, baked camembert, various soups and fresh salads to pasta and pizza, there is something for every taste. And on hot sunny days our “grill masters” will start the barbecue for you.
Outdoor pool
From our bar you have direct access to our spacious patio terrace with Mediterranean flair.
As the only sauna in the Cologne scene, you can cool off in our 10-metre-long pool or let the sun pamper you on the sun deck and forget about everyday life.
Between May and September our outdoor pool area turns into Babylon Island. Here our “hot” pool boys will spoil you with cool cocktails and drinks. And on sunny weekends it’s BBQ in the Babylon bathhouse and we’ll fire up our grill for you.
Sauna
At the end of the pool you will find our dry sauna for up to 50 people. Through the panorama window you have a unique view of the outdoor pool area.
Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday our “infusion masters” will make you sweat with our tried and tested infusions. Of course, after the infusions, we alternately serve fresh fruit, refreshments or sweets free of charge.
Our rest room right next to the dry sauna invites you to relax and unwind. Also from there you can get directly to our outdoor pool area.
Whirlpool
In the basement you will find our steam sauna. It is the largest in Cologne and with its own labyrinth and the various lounging and temperature areas it offers exciting possibilities for sauna and cruising.
In front of our steam sauna is our large whirlpool in Roman style. An inviting place to relax alone or enjoy together. From here you can get to our cruising area.
