Mozarthaus Vienna focuses on the Viennese years of the great composer, which represent the culmination of his creative output.
Around this apartment, Mozart fans young and old from all over the world can expect a comprehensive presentation of the time in which Mozart lived and his most important works on three exhibition levels. Domgasse No. 5 is home to the only one of Mozart’s dozen Viennese apartments that has been preserved to this day. The composer lodged in the Mozarthaus from 1784 to 1787. At Mozarthaus Vienna, visitors can explore Mozart’s only surviving Viennese apartment, where he composed more music than anywhere else.
On Saturday, September 11th, 2021, and Sunday, September 12th, 2021 the Mozarthaus Vienna will celebrate its 15th anniversary with an open house. The museum can be visited free of charge on both days. There are also free tours and other exciting events! Counting cards are issued for all activities, first come first serve – in order to secure seats, it is best to register in advance at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Mozarthaus Vienna offers a diverse cultural education program: themed tours through the museum or workshops, where young and old visitors from all over the world learn to make their own Mozartkugels! This is a fun and entertaining way to immerse yourself in Mozart’s world.
