10+ Years of Comic Arts

The best of 10 years of the Gallery of the Komische Künste – To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the Komische Künste are presenting a top-class selection of the funniest pictures from 52 exhibitions, which were shown in the Gallery of the Komische Künste in the MuseumsQuartier between 2010 and 2020 were seen. A best-of, where everyone is guaranteed to find something to laugh about.

We want to support and promote this type of art, which is as popular as it is unterestimated. Through the gallery and shop in the MuseumsQuartier and through publisher publications. Cartoons are art with high entertainment value. Cartoons are graphic sheets with punch line, no drawn jokes. This is exactly what makes them so attractive: it’s something between art and illustration.
