International Art Exhibitions

A steadily growing number of visitors are flocking to sensational special exhibits by such big names in the art world as Schiele, Kokoschka, Cézanne, Picasso, Van Gogh, as well as painstakingly assembled theme-based presentations. Exhibits by contemporary artists have been presented since 2000.

Exhibition schedule

The ground floor provides space for the main exhibition, which includes some marvellous tall-ceilinged rooms so you don’t feel cramped. But the Kunstforum also has a small exhibition space in the basement (the tresor – a former bank vault), for newer international artists to showcase their talents.

The location only opens, of course, when it has an exhibition on. At the time of writing, the provisional schedule is:

  • March 24th, 2021 to June 27th, 2021: Daniel Spoerri exhibition
    • March 24th, 2021 to June 27th, 2021: Borjana Ventzislavova (tresor)
  • September 28th, 2021 to January 23rd, 2022: Rebecca Horn exhibition
    • October 6th, 2021 to November 21st, 2021: Mirjam Baker (tresor)
  • February 10th, 2022 to June 19th, 2022: David Hockney exhibition

Please keep in mind to check the opening hours as they may vary due to different exhibitions. Please check online.
