Frau sucht Zukunft Café Seidenfaden

Discount: a free slice of cake if you buy a drink.

The Café Seidenfaden, a work and training project, is an alcohol and drug-free women’s café in the center of Berlin – it offers a pleasant atmosphere and fresh dishes (including vegetarian and vegan options) for a young clientele.

We offer a daily rotating lunch menu (including vegetarian and vegan options), seasonal dishes á la carte, homemade cake, coffee and tea specialties, a variety of soft drinks, and fruity alcohol-free cocktails.

We focus specifically on quality and freshness, use almost no flavor enhancers, and prepare the majority of our dishes with products from the region. Our guests can relax and talk in a pleasant atmosphere while they make new contacts and indulge their love of delicious cuisine. We are proud to welcome lesbian and queer-identified guests, as well as gay men on Saturdays, our family day.

We offer job skills testing, training on the job (ESF), and part-time employment combined with vocational guidance. Attendees can gain professional restaurant training and certification through entry qualification, retraining programs, and education as a specialist in the hospitality industry and office management professional.

Qualified trainers and instructors provide support as attendees learn and work in kitchens, service positions, housekeeping, catering, and office positions. Providing a work atmosphere based on solidarity and ensuring good teamwork are especially important to us.

Our goal is always to expand the number of training and work positions, above all through our full-service catering. The standard for all of our activities remains the satisfaction of our customers and employees.

We are proud to give interested artists the chance to exhibit their works in our café. We also rent our rooms for closed events.
